Ironworker Tooling Included in the Shipment

The shipment contained several tooling types for different ironworker machine operations.

Standard Ironworker Dies

Standard ironworker dies are used for common punching and fabrication operations. Depending on the machine configuration, tooling can include punching components and other replacement dies manufactured to the required dimensions.

Tube and Pipe Tooling

The shipment also included tooling for tube-related cutting applications. Tube and pipe tooling can be manufactured according to the required profile, tube dimensions, machine configuration, and cutting application.

Custom Bending Tooling

Custom bending tooling was included for forming applications performed on an ironworker machine. Unlike standard press brake tooling, these dies are designed specifically for the ironworker machine and the required bending profile.

For custom tooling, JSTMT can manufacture dies according to drawings, samples, dimensions, or application requirements.

Manufacturing Custom Ironworker Tooling

Ironworker tooling requirements can vary according to machine model, tooling station, material, thickness, and the finished part profile.

For custom dies, the following information can help determine the appropriate tooling configuration:

  • Ironworker machine brand and model
  • Tooling station or mounting dimensions
  • Material type
  • Material thickness
  • Required cutting or bending profile
  • Tool dimensions
  • Drawing or sample
  • Required tooling quantity

Providing a drawing or sample allows the tooling geometry and dimensions to be checked before manufacturing.

International Shipment of Ironworker Dies

For this Canada shipment, the tooling was packed into three boxes with a total gross weight of 57 kg and a volume of 0.16 CBM.

JSTMT arranged transportation using sea freight with UPS delivery, providing a door-to-door, duty-paid shipping service.

The shipping method can be selected according to tooling weight, volume, destination, delivery requirements, and customer preference.
