Project Overview
JSTMT recently completed a fiber laser cutting machine project for a customer in the United Arab Emirates.
The HVAC project involved more than supplying a single laser cutting machine. Based on the customer’s production requirements, the equipment was prepared as a complete fiber laser cutting solution with the necessary supporting systems for stable sheet metal processing.
Before shipment, the customer visited our factory to inspect the equipment, verify the machine configuration and receive operator training.
The project included the following stages:
- Fiber laser cutting system preparation
- Supporting equipment configuration
- Factory inspection and machine testing
- Customer operator training
- Final preparation for shipment to the UAE

What Did the Customer Need?
For industrial fiber laser cutting, the laser source, cutting machine and auxiliary systems must work together as a complete production system
The customer required a laser cutting solution suitable for their sheet metal processing requirements.
- Application: HVAC sheet metal components
- Materials Tested: 1.5 mm galvanized steel (GI) and 1.5 mm aluminum
- Laser Power: 3000W
- Target Cutting Speed: Approximately 7–8 m/min, depending on the material and cutting conditions
- Air Supply: Industrial air compressor
- Cooling System: Industrial water chiller
The UAE customer required a fiber laser cutting solution for HVAC sheet metal production. During the factory visit, the machine was tested using the customer’s sample materials to verify the cutting performance before shipment..

The Complete Fiber Laser Cutting Solution : Recommended Equipment Configuration
Based on the project requirements, JSTMT prepared a complete fiber laser cutting system.
1. 3000W Fiber Laser Cutting Machine
For this UAE HVAC manufacturing project, JSTMT configured a 3000W fiber laser cutting machine based on the customer’s material thickness and production requirements.
During factory testing, the machine processed 1.5 mm galvanized steel and 1.5 mm aluminum for HVAC sheet metal applications.

2. Industrial Water Chiller
An industrial water chiller was included to support stable operation of the 3000W fiber laser system.
The industrial water chiller was configured as part of the complete system.

3. Air Compressor and Air Treatment System
An air compressor was configured to provide the required compressed air for the cutting process. Assist gas and compressed air quality can directly affect cutting performance and system stability.
The supporting air system was therefore considered as part of the complete laser cutting solution rather than as an unrelated accessory.

4. Exhaust and Supporting Equipment
Additional equipment was prepared according to the machine configuration and workshop requirements to support safe and efficient operation.

Factory Inspection and Machine Testing
Before shipment, the UAE customer visited the JSTMT factory to inspect the fiber laser cutting machine and verify the equipment configuration.
During the visit, the customer was able to:
- Inspect the machine structure and main components
- Confirm the equipment configuration
- Observe machine operation and testing
- Discuss operating requirements with the technical team
- Verify the supporting equipment included in the complete system
Factory inspection gives customers an opportunity to review the actual equipment before export shipment and confirm that the supplied configuration matches the agreed production requirements.

In addition to equipment inspection, operator training was provided before shipment.
The training focused on the practical operation of the fiber laser cutting system and the main procedures required before production.
Depending on the customer’s equipment configuration and operating experience, training may include:

- Material and cutting parameter setup
- Focus and cutting head operation
- Daily maintenance requirements
