Colly Style tooling can form a sheet metal shape with a desired angle. It includes an expansive of punches, dies, & accessories, available in segmented, full-length sizes. It can change the physical state of metal sheets to achieve various shape processing. It uses precision press brakes pressure to stamp a blank into a particular shape and size. and the length can be an option with segmented standard 835mm,800mm, or full length.

It depends on the type of lower die. An acute die is measured from center radius to center radius. A 90 or 85 degree die is measured from the theoretical intersection to theoretical intersection. Talk to an engineer at JSTMT for more press brake tooling details.

On a punch it is from the tools shoulders down to the tip of its radius. (Does not include the tools tongue) On a die it is from the tools base up to the top of the die (does not include tools tongue). Check with Power Brake Dies for more press brake tooling details.

The material thickness value is squared, multiplied by 575, divided by the die-opening width inch value and then divided again by 12 inches. The tonnage per inch is now calculated. You can then multiply the value by the bend length.
