1. The Economic CNC Press Brake Machine

This axis cnc press brake refers to a Torsion Bar or a basic Synchronized Hydraulic press brake structure.

Solution: How to program and adjust the bending angle for sheet metal?

1) Start a new program for a sheet metal bend with 120 degrees :

1.  Click the product number and select “New Program”.

2. Select the mold: Choose the appropriate mold(mold icon : Punch, Die, or Finger) .

3. Navigate to the programming page: Click “More” to enter the programming page.

4. Set bend parameters: On the programming page, set the material, pressure holding time, and retreat as needed.

5. Enter bending angle: Click the bending angle icon and enter the desired angle 120 degrees or 90 degrees.

6. Enter bending length: Click the bending length icon and enter the desired length  100.00mm.

7. Add more steps: To program additional bends, click the “insert next bend” icon (‘a’) and repeat the process for the next step.

8. Start bending: Once programming is complete, click the “Start the pump” icon and then step on the foot switch to begin bending.

9. After bending, if you measured the bend angle to be 132 degrees(Target angle 120 degrees), it means you got a different bend angle from your original setting.

2)How to calibrate the bend angle difference?

Now you can go to the menu page, and move to Y axis where you can see the depth value 183.39mm.

Click to the depth 183.39mm, insert the actual 132 degrees, then start to run it, and it will automatically adjust and bend to 120 degrees, which meet the requirements.
